James Byron has been teaching at Asbury School of Music since 2005. His degree in music is from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is a great teacher for both children and adults. Although he makes sure that his students learn the fundamentals like reading music and music theory, he also makes sure that his students are learning the style of music that interests them. Students go home from the first lesson having learned a song by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Green Day or Taylor Swift. It is encouraging to students to be making progress right away. He teaches students from 9 to adult. |
